The Cisco 8861 IP Phone (CP-8861-K9) is a business-class collaboration endpoint that combines high-fidelity, reliable, secure, and scalable voice over IP communications with Cisco Intelligent Proximity for personal mobile device telephony integration to support small to large enterprise businesses.
You can boost personal productivity with the Cisco 8861 IP Phone by providing an engaging user experience that is both powerful and simple to use. The Cisco 8861 IP Phone features an appealing new ergonomic design, wideband audio for crystal clear voice communications, "always-on" reliability, encrypted voice communications to improve security, and access to a comprehensive suite of unified communications features from Cisco on-premises and hosted infrastructure platforms. Third-party hosted call control services can also support the Cisco 8861 IP Phone.
Furthermore, when you use your mobile device at your desk for work, Cisco Intelligent Proximity combines the worlds of desk and mobile for you. During active mobile calls, you can redirect the audio path to the Cisco 8861 IP Phone to benefit from its improved audio acoustics. For instance, you could share a discussion with a coworker who you want to listen in on. When you're at your workstation, this feature allows you more flexibility and a better user experience.
The Cisco 8861 IP Phone includes two USB connections as standard, allowing you to charge your own mobile devices while at your desk and stay connected while away from it.
The Cisco 8861 IP Phone has five configurable line keys. You can arrange keys to support numerous directory numbers or calling capabilities such as rapid dial. You can also increase efficiency by processing several calls for each directory number using the multicall-per-line capability. Fixed-function keys provide one-touch access to programs, messaging, the directory, and frequently used calling capabilities such as hold/resume, transfer, and conference. A five-way navigation cluster makes it easier to navigate through menus. Backlit acoustic keys provide audio path selection and switching.

● The Cisco IP Phone 8861 has a 5-inch high-resolution (800 x 480) widescreen VGA backlit color display. Localized language support, including right-to-left on-screen text, serves the demands of global users.
● The phone includes a built-in Gigabit Ethernet switch for both network and PC connections.
● The phone also works on campuses that have 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WiFi.
● Support for Cisco EnergyWiseTM technology makes the Cisco IP Phone 8861 more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly; the phone is Energy Star-qualified.
● Customers needing this feature can acquire an optional wall-mount kit as a spare item.
● Up to three extra IP Phone 8800 Key Expansion Modules can be supported for 108 additional line/feature keys.
● Colors include charcoal and white.
