This Phone Supports Webex Calling
The Cisco 8845 IP Phone (CP-8845-K9) can help you boost personal productivity by providing strong and simple-to-use user experiences. It blends an appealing new ergonomic design with 720p HD video and wideband audio for crystal-clear video and voice communications and "always-on" reliability. The 8845 encrypts video and phone communications for security and provides access to a comprehensive array of unified communications services.
Furthermore, when you use your mobile device at your desk for work, Cisco Intelligent Proximity combines the worlds of desk and mobile for you. During active mobile calls, you can shift the audio path to the 8845 to take advantage of its improved audio acoustics. Sharing a chat with a colleague who is listening in is one example. This feature allows you more freedom at your workplace.
The Cisco 8845 IP Phone includes five configurable line keys. You can arrange keys to support either numerous directory numbers or call capabilities such as rapid dial. You can also increase efficiency by processing several calls for each directory number by utilizing the multicall-per-line capability. Fixed function keys provide one-touch access to programs, messaging, and the directory, as well as frequently used calling capabilities like hold/resume, transfer, and conference. Backlit acoustic keys allow for greater audio path choices and switching.
• 800 × 480, 24-bit color, 5-in. WVGA display
• Provedes access to calling features and text-based XML applications
• 720p HD video (encode and decode)
• H.264/AVC
• The handset is a standard wideband-capable audio handset (connects through an RJ-9 port)
• The basic coiled cord features a bespoke termination for hidden cable routing beneath the phone (cord length is approximately 21 in. [55 cm] coiled and up to 72 in. (183 cm) extended).
• The phone is hearing aid compatible (HAC) and complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) loudness guidelines established by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Section 508 loudness standards can be met with industry-standard inline handset amplifiers as the Walker Equipment W-10 or CE-100. The dial pad is also accessible.
A full-duplex speakerphone allows you to make and receive calls while keeping your hands free. When using the speakerphone mode, the audible dual tone multifrequency (DTMF) tones are muted for increased protection.
The display is simple to read, and the buttons and keys are simple to use. The two-position foot stand supports viewing angles of 35 and 50 degrees; you may remove the foot stand for wall mounting, with mounting holes placed on the phone's base.
