The Plantronics CS510 Wireless Headset (84691-01) is set to become the new DECT (digital enhanced cordless telecommunication) wireless headset standard. DECT technology produces high-quality audio while removing interference from Wi-Fi networks. The Plantronics CS510 Wireless Headset has everything you could want in a wireless headset, beginning with its elegant, contemporary design and lightweight 2.5 oz (72 g) headset with one-touch call/answer, volume, mute, and flash controls all at your fingertips. The headset has a replaceable battery that charges in three hours and lasts up to nine hours.
As if that weren't enough, it also has a noise-cancelling microphone that reduces background noise, ensuring exceptional audio quality and reducing listener fatigue. While you're listening, SoundGuard technology protects against sound levels greater than 118 dBA, and Anti-startle technology detects and eliminates large and sudden changes in signal level. The setup is straightforward. The included telephone interface cable connects the CS510 base to any desk phone. To answer, simply press the call/answer button on the headset, or enable the auto answer feature for touchless operation, which allows you to accept incoming calls with a simple lift of the handset. Once connected, you'll enjoy high-definition voice quality thanks to advanced wideband audio technology and enhanced DSP (digital signal processing), which makes speech sound clearer and more natural.
New headsets can be docked and connected to the base. After docking a headset, you can immediately begin using it with the system. Use the optional Electronic Hookswitch Cable or Handset Lifter to remotely answer or end calls (each sold separately) and conference in up to three additional headsets for enhanced collaboration.
