Overview

Overview of Panasonic KX-T0155 2 Channel DECT Cell Station | Like New

The Panasonic KX-T0155 2-Channel DECT Cell Station is a two-channel DECT digital cell station that transmits signal to cordless phones. The KX-T0155 is compatible with the communication platforms KX-TDA50G, KX-NCP500/1000, KX-TDE100/200/600, and KX-TDA50G.

Panasonic's KX-T0155 2-Channel DECT Cell Station is the company's most recent technology, employing a new frequency that is less likely to interfere with wireless computer networks and other cordless phones. This spectrum has less interference with current 900 MHz, 2.4 GHz, and 5.4 GHz bands because it uses a 1.9 MHz frequency. Please see Wikipedia for additional information about DECT. The KX-T0155 replaces the 2.4 GHz technology in the KX-T0151 (it is not backwards compatible). necessitates the purchase of new cordless handsets).

One KX-T0155 provides two channels for Panasonic handsets. This means that each cell station can only handle up to two phone calls at the same time. We advocate installing additional cell stations to systems with multiple handsets to increase performance when answering calls. Cell stations on the KX-T0155 must be at least 10 feet apart or they will interfere with each other (imagine the phone not knowing which cell station to communicate with and bouncing the signal between stations). In most cases, cell towers are located approximately 75 feet apart, resulting in overlapping cell coverage. The radius of coverage for one cell station, KX-T0155, is approximately 150 feet.

Please keep in mind the two-call restriction per station. For example, if you have four handsets and one cell station, only two phones will ring when a call comes through. "Cell Station Busy" will be shown on the third and fourth handsets. If this happens regularly, add another cell station about 20 feet away.

The Panasonic KX-T0155 2-Channel DECT Cell Station requires no AC converter or power supply. The Panasonic PBX's digital extension port receives power. This has significant advantages for situating cell stations in difficult-to-reach regions. Simply run a Cat3 telephone wire from your site to the PBX's digital extension port, and the PBX will recognize the cell station immediately. No further programming is required, and installation is simple.

True Mobility is provided via the Multi-Cell DECT System. Enjoy superior mobility whether you work in an office, factory, warehouse, supermarket, or other large facility. This solution allows automatic call handover, providing you genuine communication mobility even in vast buildings. The Panasonic KX-TD7695 DECT handset is small and light, yet it packs a punch. The KX-TD7685 is an excellent solution for users seeking basic performance at a modest cost.
