Utilizing the NETGEAR Switches to Begin Excellent NDI Workflows
The NETGEAR switches is made for clean integration in a rack, behind a display, or beneath a table. It is engineered for 1G AV over IP.
Pre-configured NDI® profiles are included with every switch. Powering cameras, endpoints, and other devices is made possible by PoE+ and Ultra 90 PoE++ versions. True out-of-the-box operation is ensured, even with many switches, via NETGEAR IGMP PlusTM, Auto-LAG, and Auto-Trunk capabilities
With committed service and support, M4250 switches from NETGEAR's AV Line are created and engineered for audio/video professionals. The Switcher line was created from the bottom up with the expanding AV over IP market in mind. It combines industry best practices with years of AV networking experience obtained with the M4300 and M4500 series. The M4250's AV Line is tuned for 1Gbps codecs, while AV codecs normally run at 1Gbps or 10Gbps per stream. Rear-facing ports, PoE+, and Ultra90 PoE++ all let AV racks integrate seamlessly.
Pre-configured M4250 switches support commonly used audio and video signals. An AV user interface provides port-based profiles for customization when more specific requirements are needed.
An AV user interface can be customized using port-based profiles when more specific requirements are needed.Popular audio and video signals are already configured inside M4250 switches. There are AES67, Q-SYS, and Dante profiles available for audio, in addition to an AVB profile that needs a separate AVB license. The M4250 offers mixed audio/video/control profiles in addition to NVX, AMX, Q-SYS, NewTek NDI, and Dante profiles for video. When employing M4300 and M4500 switches, or just connecting the switches together, NETGEAR IGMP PlusTM streamlines the process of connecting numerous switches.
