Microsoft is starting the process of integrating extensive meeting and calling features into Microsoft Teams! The purpose of these significant changes to Microsoft Teams' new calling functionality is to support users of Skype for Business in the past. Let's examine some further information.

What’s New?

The enhanced calling features include multi-call handling, simultaneous ringing, voicemail, text telephone (TTY) support, full dialing capabilities, call history, hold/resume, speed dial, transfer, forwarding, caller ID masking, and other advanced functions. These changes are now being sent, and they should become effective shortly.

Microsoft also integrates information and insights from the Microsoft Graph into Microsoft Teams as part of this new innovation strategy, enabling users to accomplish more.

While many cloud service providers cover even more complex capabilities, these new features have long been offered by standard VoIP services.
