Quick Call Placement, Answering, and Transferring Tips for Polycom VVX 250, 350, and 450 Phones

We thought we would share some brief "how to" tips and methods to place, answer, and transfer calls on the Poly VVX 250, 350, and 450 VoIP phones, because so many businesses use these phones.


To Place a Call:

Take one of the following actions:

*Take up the phone, dial or input the number, then select Send

*Once the phone number is entered, press the Line key and choose Send.

Select New Call, enter the phone number, and press Send.


To Answer a Call:

You have three options for taking calls: speakerphone, headset, or handset.

Take one of the following actions:

*To respond using the speakerphone. press Answer soft key.

*Pick up the handset to respond with it.


To Transfer a Call:

You can transfer calls to any contact.

Take one of the following actions:

*Press and hold the Transfer soft key

*Select Consultative or Blind.

*Dial a number or select a contact. The call is promptly transferred if you select Blind.

*If you select Consultative, after chatting with the selected contact, hit the Transfer soft key.
