The EdgeSwitch 8 150W (ES-8-150W) from Ubiquiti is a full-featured networking solution. In addition to the two 1 Gbps SFP Ethernet connections, there are eight Gigabit Ethernet ports with a maximum power over Ethernet wattage of 34.2 watts per port. The voltage range is 50 to 57 volts, with a maximum passive power over Ethernet wattage of 17 watts per port. VLAN, private VLAN, voice VLAN, link aggregation, DHCP snooping, IGMP snooping, and many other networking technologies are available. Rack mount brackets are included with the unit.

Advanced Switching Technology

Ubiquiti Networks EdgeSwitch, part of the EdgeMAX product range, allows you to build and grow your network. The EdgeSwitch is a PoE+ Gigabit switch that provides robust performance and intelligent switching for increasing networks. The EdgeSwitch delivers a comprehensive set of advanced Layer-2 switching functions and protocols, as well as Layer-3 routing capability.

Switching Performance

The EdgeSwitch provides the forwarding capability to process traffic on all ports at line rate without packet loss. The 8-port variants have a total non-blocking throughput of up to 10 Gbps.

PoE+ Flexibility

This EdgeSwitch PoE Gigabit Ethernet switch has 8 auto-sensing IEEE 802.3af/at ports and customizable 24V Passive PoE to help you simplify your infrastructure. The EdgeSwitch identifies 802.3af/at devices by default and automatically connects them to PoE. Manually enable 24V passive PoE using the EdgeSwitch Configuration Interface for 24V passive PoE devices.

Fiber Connectivity

The EdgeSwitch expands your network's fiber connectivity possibilities. This 8-port device has two SFP ports and can support up to 1 Gbps uplinks.

Comprehensive User Interface

The EdgeSwitch Configuration Interface is a graphical user interface that administrators can use to configure and monitor switch features. For advanced users, telnet and SSH provide an industry-standard command-line interface (CLI).
