The Plantronics Savi 8245 UC Wireless DECT Headset (Unlimited Talk Time) (211203-01) is a wireless headset that can be used in a UC environment. It has three different wearing options: over-the-head, over-the-ear, and behind-the-neck. The Savi 8245 UC is equipped with secure DECT wireless technology, wideband audio, a noise-cancelling microphone, a long range and unlimited talk time, and built-in call controls. It also comes with a pre-paired D200 DECT USB-A dongle that plugs into a USB-A port on your PC or laptop for simple setup and use. The Savi 8245 UC is compatible with the most popular IP PBX systems and hosted service providers' UC desktop applications and softphones.


Features

  • The Savi 8245 monaural headset can be worn in one of three ways with the included accessories. It has an ear hook, a behind-the-head neckband, and an over-the-head headband.
  • Connect up to four Savi 8200 series headsets to a single base for training and group collaboration.
  • The headset is DECT Security Certified, which means it adheres to security standards to ensure the privacy of your conversations.
  • The Plantronics Hub program for Windows and Mac PCs allows you to configure and monitor the settings of the Savi 8245 headset. A visual indicator of mute and battery status is provided, as is call control with call answer/end, mute, and volume adjustment, as well as the ability to change the language of the voice prompt.
  • This feature is designed to keep your hearing safe while using the headset. SoundGuard DIGITAL protects against sound levels exceeding 118 dBA. G616 anti-startle technology detects and eliminates any significant, sudden increase in signal level. It should be noted that the Plantronics Hub software is required for SoundGuard DIGITAL.
  • Plantronics Manager Pro, a software-as-a-service that is sold separately, can be used by IT professionals to manage the Savi 8245. You can use the program to maintain and monitor the headset's usage.
