The Savi 8240 UC is compatible with the most popular IP PBX systems and hosted service providers' UC desktop applications and softphones.

- With the included accessories, the Savi 8240 monaural headset can be worn in one of three ways. It includes an ear hook, a neckband behind the head, and an over-the-head headband.
- This headset works with a number of Microsoft communication applications. With the addition of downloadable Plantronics software, the Savi 8240 supports call control via Microsoft Lync, Microsoft Teams, and Skype for Business.
- For training and group collaboration, connect up to four Savi 8200 series headsets to a single base.
- The headset is DECT Security Certified, which means it adheres to security standards to keep your conversations private.
- The Plantronics Hub program for Windows and Mac PCs allows you to configure and monitor the Savi 8240 headset's settings. You get a visual indicator of mute and battery status, call control with call answer/end, mute, and volume adjustment, the ability to change the language of the voice prompt, and more.
