Essential Information
If you add a 3 x 8 or 2 x 8 expansion card to your Panasonic 8 x 24 Phone System in order to add lines and extensions to your system, you can still access Caller ID information on these news lines. By adding the Caller ID Card to your system, your central hub will be able pass along information on callers to individual phones. The phone system and expansion cards are sold separately. Installing the Caller ID Card is easy: Just follow the instructions laid out in your phone system manual. The Caller ID information will show up on the extensions LCD screen, even if the user is on a call for call screening at a glance.
The Panasonic KX-TE82493 Caller ID card works with the Panasonic KX-TA824 phone system. The KX-TE82493 sends Caller ID information to expanded lines and is easy to install. By adding the KX-TE82493 Caller ID card to your system, your central hub will be able pass along information on callers to individual phones. The Panasonic KX TE82493 Caller ID card supports both system Caller ID on KX-T7700 Series telephones and FSK caller ID on a single line devices. The KX-TE82493 Caller ID card is a daughter board that mounts on the main system board.
