The Cisco CBS350-12XT 12-Port 10G Managed Network Switch (CBS350-12XT-NA-RF) has ten 10G RJ45 ports and two 10G SFP+/RJ45 combo ports for connecting to a wide range of high-speed wired devices, including computers, network attached storage, and more. Its extensive Layer 2 and Layer 3 features include secure connections, clear communications, and link aggregation for up to eight groups. Its 240 Gb/s switching capacity and 178.56 Mpps forwarding rate contribute to fast and reliable data transfers. The Cisco CBS350-12XT and its connected devices can be configured and monitored using the Cisco Business Dashboard portal and mobile app. The two fan design helps to keep temperatures stable, while the switch operates quietly in the background.

Features of the Cisco CBS350-12XT 12-Port 10G Managed Network Switch

Ease of Management and Deployment

Cisco Business 350 Series Switches are designed to be easy to use and manage by commercial customers or the partners that serve them, including the following features:

Cisco Business Dashboard was created to manage Cisco Business switches, routers, and wireless access points. Cisco Business Dashboard simplifies traditional deployment and management challenges for business networks by automating network deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management. Cisco Business 350 Series switches support embedded probes for Cisco Business Dashboard, eliminating the need to install additional hardware or virtual machines on-site.

The Cisco Network Plug and Play solution is a simple, secure, unified, and integrated offering that makes it easier to roll out new devices or provision updates to an existing network. The solution offers a unified approach to provisioning Cisco routers, switches, and wireless devices, with a near-zero-touch deployment process.

The intuitive user interfaces shorten the time required to deploy, troubleshoot, and manage the network, allowing you to support advanced capabilities without increasing IT head count.

The switches also support Text view, which provides a complete Command-Line Interface (CLI) option for partners who prefer it.

Support for Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) enables you to remotely configure and manage your Cisco switches and other devices from a network management station, thereby improving IT workflow and mass configuration.

High Reliability and Resiliency

In a growing business, where availability is critical 24 hours a day, seven days a week, you must ensure business continuity and that employees have constant access to the data and resources they require. The Cisco Business 350 Series Switches support dual images, which allows you to perform software upgrades without taking the network offline or worrying about the network going down.

Strong Security

Cisco Business 350 Series Switches provide the advanced security features you need to protect your business data and keep unauthorized users off the network:

Support for advanced network security applications like IEEE 802.1X and port security restricts access to specific network segments. Web-based authentication offers a standardized interface for authenticating all types of host devices and operating systems, without the need to deploy IEEE 802.1X clients on each endpoint.

Advanced defense mechanisms, such as dynamic Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) inspection, IP Source Guard, and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) snooping, detect and prevent malicious network attacks. Combinations of these protocols are also known as IP-MAC port binding (IPMB).

IPv6 First Hop Security provides advanced threat protection over IPv6. This comprehensive security suite includes ND inspection, RA guard, DHCPv6 guard, and neighbor binding integrity check, offering unrivalled protection against a wide range of address spoofing and man-in-the-middle attacks on IPv6 networks.

Power over Ethernet (PoE)

Cisco Business 350 Series Switches come equipped with up to 48 Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports. This feature simplifies advanced technology deployments like IP telephony, wireless, and IP surveillance by allowing you to connect and power network endpoints with a single Ethernet cable. You can benefit from advanced communications technologies more quickly and affordably by eliminating the need to install separate power supplies for IP phones or wireless access points. Models support both 802.3af PoE and 802.3at PoE+. Select switches also support 60W PoE, which can power high-performance wireless access points and Internet of Things (IoT) devices.

IPv6 Support

As the IP address scheme evolves to accommodate an increasing number of network devices, Cisco Business 350 Series Switches can help you transition to the next generation of networking. These switches continue to support previous-generation IPv4, allowing you to transition to the new IPv6 standard at your own pace while also ensuring that your current network can support your business applications in the future. Cisco Business 350 Series Switches have passed rigorous IPv6 testing and received USGv6 and IPv6 Gold certification.

Advanced Layer 3 Traffic Management

The Cisco Business 350 Series Switches provide more advanced traffic management capabilities to help growing businesses organize their networks more effectively and efficiently. For example, the switches provide dynamic Layer 3 routing, allowing you to segment your network into workgroups and communicate across VLANs without degrading application performance.

With these capabilities, you can improve the efficiency of your network by offloading internal traffic handling tasks from your router and allowing it to focus on external traffic and security.

True stacking

Cisco Business 350 Series switches support true stacking, allowing you to configure, manage, and troubleshoot all switches in a stack as one unit with a single IP address.

A true stack provides a unified data and control plane, as well as a management plane, allowing for greater flexibility, scalability, and ease of use because the stack of units operates as a single entity that includes all of the stack members' ports. This capability has the potential to significantly reduce complexity in a growing network environment while increasing the resilience and availability of network applications. True stacking also offers cost savings and administrative benefits through cross-stack QoS, VLANs, LAGs, and port mirroring, which clustered switches do not support.

Compact Design

The Cisco Business 350 Series Switches' sleek and compact design allows for additional deployment flexibility, including outside wiring closet installation in retail stores, open-plan offices, and classrooms without disturbing the environment.

Power Efficiency

The Cisco Business 350 Series Switches include a wide range of power-saving features across all models, giving the industry's most comprehensive energy-efficient switching portfolio. These switches are intended to conserve energy by optimizing power consumption, thereby protecting the environment and lowering your energy costs. They offer an environmentally friendly network solution without compromising performance. The Cisco Business 350 Series Switches feature:

Support for the Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) standard, which reduces energy consumption by monitoring the amount of traffic on an active link and putting the link in sleep mode during quiet periods.

Automatic power shutoff on ports when a link fails.

Embedded intelligence that adjusts signal strength according to the length of the connecting cable

Most models feature a fanless design, which reduces power consumption, increases reliability, and provides quieter operation.

Peace of Mind and Investment Protection

Cisco Business 350 Series Switches provide the dependable performance and peace of mind you'd expect from a Cisco switch. A solution that has been rigorously tested to ensure maximum network uptime and business continuity. Free one-year access to our Small Business Support Center for ongoing assistance.
