Peace and Quiet: Blocking Numbers on Your Yealink T54W

Nothing is more annoying than getting calls from someone you don't want to talk to, especially while you're trying to concentrate at work. Don't worry if you're utilizing a VoIP phone! You have a fair probability of permanently blocking that number!

We'll utilize the Yealink T54W IP phone with built-in Bluetooth and WiFi as we get a lot of requests about how to block numbers on that model. However, this "how-to" will also work on the following Yealink phones, however the directions may differ somewhat.

1.Press Menu.

2.Directory.

3.Blacklist.

4. To add, press the soft key

5. In the corresponding fields, enter the name and the office, mobile, or other numbers

6. To choose the preferred account by clicking in the Account field

Steps to blacklist a number on a Yealink T54W from the local directory:

1. Press the Directory soft key.

*Special Note: Since there is only Local Directory by default in the directory, the IP phone goes straight into the local directory. Press Menu->Directory->Local Directory to access the local directory if it has been deleted from the directory.

2.Press the Enter soft key.

Special Note: Once the groups are in the local directory, pick the one you want and hit the Enter soft key.
